Instructions for teachers
The learners start with a mindmap about their perfect work place and present it to the group. Then they design a poster/collage and present it. After that the learners practice a telephone conversation in a roleplay and write a formal letter or e-mail to their boss or a colleague (application for leave, sick note, …). Then all together discuss the pros and cons about home office. The last task is a job activity including drawing, describing and pantomiming a job. The learners can think about a job by themselves or the trainer prepares different job cards.
Until the next unit the learners write a text about their role model, watch the video about ,workers rights revolution’ and note a few sentences. As preparation they also watch the video about a ‘happy work place’.
